Opéra de Montréal attracts audiences of all ages using innovative marketing stunts

The Opéra de Montréal is setting itself apart from most opera houses through its use of modern advertising techniques and wide appeal to audiences young and old, which has been highlighted especially through its recent use of guerrilla publicity stunts and viral YouTube videos.
According to the Montreal Gazette, these "random acts of opera" included a surprise performance in a department store when a young male singer belted out the Toreador Song from Bizet's Carmen while accompanying music blasted from the overhead speakers. Just when the rapidly forming crowd thought the spectacle had ended, a woman dressed as a jewelry counter employee backed him up with a rendition of Habanera aria L'amour est un oiseau rebelle.
It seems as though there's nothing they wouldn't do, and it's highly probable that anyone planning a destination wedding in Quebec could arrange to have such stunning musical feats accompanying their walk down the aisle.
Once vows are exchanged and bouquets are tossed, Montreal opens up a world of possibilities to couples and their wedding parties, who will find no end to the delight of the city's scenic vistas, legendary street art and rich cultural life.
