Tours are an appreciated convenience for many travelers, but some people enjoy seeing the sights at their own pace. In an effort to accommodate these individuals in Maui, HawaiiGaga.com recently announced the development of a GPS tour guide for the iPhone.
This program will allow travelers to explore the region at a comfortable pace directly from their mobile phone. The Maui GPS Tour Guide is the first application of its kind to be suitable for the iPhone, split into five different tours that span across the location.
"Imagine having a Maui expert drive with you to tell you about the island," said HawaiiGaga.com developer Cathy Pretorius. "The Tour Guide helps visitors locate difficult-to-find attractions, but also educates them about sensitive eco systems, ocean safety, and areas popularized by guide books."
Maui is full of attractions worth visiting for couples who are looking to get away from it all. The Hawaiian island is full of lush, white beaches and plenty of opportunities to snorkel alongside native underwater creatures. The Haleakala National Park also boasts some of the most beautiful views of the island amidst the great outdoors.
