Istanbul cooking classes will teach honeymooners how to take the flavors of the historic city home with them.
The Istanbul International Dance Festival in Turkey is a week of dance shows performed by dance artists from all over the world including Colombia, Holland and Estonia.

After performances, dancers will give workshops for all levels of dancers. The event is a gathering for every style of dancer to come and share their moves, learn new steps and try something different. Dance styles featured include Cha cha, Zumba and Reggaeton, and dance parties on the three dance floors will be sure to get any couple's heart racing. Live music will be performed throughout the week, and there will be an intercorporate dance competition to end the festivities.

For something a bit more low key, honeymooners must visit the Blue Mosque dating back to 1609. Sultan Ahmet wanted to build a house of worship that could best Hagia Sophia, another holy structure found in Istanbul. The mosque has six minarets that can be seen from far away, and a cascade of domes that spill from the center dome. The blue association of the mosque originates from the blue tiles that form abstract patterns on the interior, some dating back to the year of construction.

Couples should also make sure to catch a local cooking class to learn the secrets behind Turkish spices and flavors. Cooking Ala Turka provides locals and guests with hands-on culinary lessons that participants can sink their teeth into upon completion. Classes, offered in English, accommodate all dietary preferences including vegetarian and gluten-free. In just two hours, couples can learn the secrets of Turkish delicacies and feast on their hard work.
